Petrolicious !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I love old Mercedes cars, particularly coupes, and this is a great example. But there’s one little detail that doesn’t seem quite right to my eye.

I can forgive these incongruously ‘MURRICAN tires though, because dat interior...
(I’m pretty sure both the tires and the period-correct analog stopwatches on the dash are because the owner uses the car for TSD rallies. But still. ‘MURRICA.)

Old Mercs has so much charm to them. I rally want to own one right now. On top of their tank like reliability you get a car with no compromises when it comes to how it feel and drive, it was designed for one thing and noting is sacrificed to make it do more stuff than it is needed.

That white lettering needs turned to inside.

the white lettering needs to go, as do the ugly wheels. color matched hubcaps look money on old benzes. and while youre at it get rid of those euro lamps

I thought you were going to say something about the fender mirrors. I don’t know if that is the normal location for this model, but it’s not for other mercs of the era.
